This class will teach you everything you need to know to design your own Sugar Structure! From calculating “to scale” measurements to picking the perfect Sugar Structure parts, this class will leave you feeling confident to make anything you could dream of in cake. There will be Sugar Structure parts available for you to get hands-on with during the class so you can experience how easy it is to create with Innovative Sugarworks’ Sugar Structures!
In this one hour course, we will cover:
- How to design a stable cake.
- How to measure the sketch or photo you wish to recreate in cake.
- Calculating “to scale” measurements for your final cake.
- Determining what elbow joints and rod lengths to use.
- How to create and support cake boards inside your structure.
How to design your own “Pouring Cake”.
You will leave this class with a packet covering everything to successfully turn your ideas into strong and stable cakes. You will also take home the Sugar Structure parts to make your own “Pouring Cake”.
